And now a bit of history. History in the large

The “fustier” painters: if you consult a dictionary, you will notice that it is not explained. It is an old term that comes from “fustet” (explained in some dictionaries), and that means an arbust. In the past when a child was born, a tree was planted, called a “fustet”. And when the child got married, the tree was cut down to make a wedding cupboard. The roots were also used to paint the wood. The painter or artist who painted the item was called a “fustier”.
